Interact Club Meeting: Today at lunch in the Career Lab. Bring a lunch.
FBLA will host a HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE: From November 1st through November 22nd. Every donation will be used to fill the Lassen High Lending Locker. Suggested items are grab and go items like beef jerky or granola bars, or nonperishable food that is easy to heat up. Food boxes will be located in Lassen Business classrooms (Larson, Schall, Satica, and Dawn Egan). Your donation will help fill our lending locker for the holidays.
The Cap & Gown Company: Will be here November 15th at lunch-time in the library. If you buy your class ring through Ultimate Grad Co, your cap & gown will be free!
It’s time for the Advanced Art Fall Show! New works created by students in Art 2, Art 3, Art 4, and Ceramics 2 will be on display at the district office board room starting Tuesday November 12th. We will be holding an opening reception from 4:00 to 5:30pm when all will be welcome to come view the artworks, grab a light snack, and talk to the artists about their work. Come join us to see and celebrate the creativity of our art students! Admission is FREE, and you do not need to dress up. Hope to see you there!
Swim Team Awards: Wednesday November 13th from 6-7 in the Student Center. Frosh and Sophomores bring drinks and Juniors and Seniors bring desserts. If you have questions contact Coach Tina or Coach Laura
–Friday 11/8 The Juvenile Justice Panel will be here during 1st period (this is an freshman only assembly) All freshman will check into their 1st period class and report to the Student Center–
Seniors and parents of seniors – SAVE THE DATE, November 6th at 5pm Financial aid experts will be hosting a workshop to assist families with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), California College Promise Grant (CCPG), Chafee Grant and where to find scholarships.
Win and All-Expenses-Paid Trip to Washington, DC! If you are supplied with either electrical power through PSREC or Internet service through PST and are a sophomore, junior or senior you qualify. Written essay and application must be returned to PSREC by Friday, November 15, 2019. For more information please contact the counseling office.
