Adult Education Program

Achieve your dreams:

Diploma Gold is an adult education program that offers a second chance for those who were unable to complete their high school requirements before their 18th birthday.

Diploma Gold offers:

  • In-class instruction from a certified teacher
  • The most current online curriculum
  • Convenient central location

By offering an online curriculum and in-class instruction students are able to benefit from both the flexibility of online classes and the support of a knowledgeable instructor.

Enrollment information:

  • Classes are held Monday and Wednesday night from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Attendance every week is mandatory.
  • There is no fee for this program.

Free Classes:

Some classes are free to the public but are not part of the diploma program. These classes are offered during the year and are funded by Lassen -Modoc Adult Education Consortium for CA. Adult Education 2021. 

Classes being offered:

  • Woodshop:
    • Tuesday and Thursdays 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
    • Located in the Wood Shop. Parking in the Berkley St. Parking lot. 
    • Work on projects to learn valuable woodworking skills
  • Beginning administrative assistant courses:
    • Tuesdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
    • Located at 814 Cottage St
    • Learn Microsoft Office, typing, phone, copier and other basic computer usage with a self-paced instructor-guided course.
    • CompTIA A+ computer repair class:
      • Tuesdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
      • Located at 814 Cottage St
      • Get ready for the CompTIA A+ exam and earn a certificate from TestOut in PC Pro

Diploma Gold and Computer Courses are held at 814 Cottage St in the back/south parking lot. Go around the south-east side to the double doors and ring the bell.

Woodshop classes are held at 1110 Main St. in the woodshop.
