District Transparency

Our commitment:

Lassen Union High School District (LUHSD) is committed to always doing what is best for our students. We believe in open and accountable government and for that reason we are committed to transparency so that staff, students, parents and the community see our processes.

Financial Transparency

Through responsible fiscal management, we ensure as much money as possible is allocated to our classrooms and schools. LUHSD is committed to responsibly using the taxpayer resources provided by our community. LUHSD is also dedicated to being honest stewards of the property entrusted to us by our community, and will be accountable to them through transparent and accurate accounting of the District’s business. We have many of our financial documents available in the Documents section of our website. If you cannot find a document you are looking for please contact our District Office during normal business hours or through the Contact Us page.

NOTE: Please consider the context when evaluating financial transactions. Some transactions may appear questionable on the surface but are perfectly normal and justifiable when placed in the proper context. We welcome your questions regarding our financial transactions or records.

District Policies

The district policies that have been approved by our Board of Trustees are available online along with Board minutes and agendas. The public is encouraged to come to our open board sessions that are held the first Tuesday of every month at 6 pm on . Changes and special board meetings are posted on our Activities Calendar.
